PRI Makers Network Conference 2010 - Registration Information

Online registration is now closed. Registration will be available on-site beginning Monday, May 10th at 8:00am in the Wellington Foyer at the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel, 909 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. If you would like to join us for the conference, please contact us.
Registration Fees
Early Bird Member Registration (through March 26, 2010): $600
Regular Member Registration (after March 26, 2010): $750
Non-Member Registration (at any time): $1,000
Want to register more than one person from your organization? Member organizations registering more than one attendee receive $100 off the conference fee for each additional registrant; enter the name of the first registrant from your organization in order to receive the discount.
Eligibility
The conference is designed specifically for PRI Makers Network members and their representatives, as well as other foundations who are making or considering making program-related investments. Network members receive a lower member rate; if you are not already a PRI Makers Network member, you will have the option to join the Network as part of the conference registration process. All membership applicants will be contacted by email to confirm whether your membership and conference registration were approved.
Members of the Donors Forum (Illinois) are also eligible to attend at member rates.
The attendance of any other organizations shall be at the sole discretion of PRI Makers Network. If you have questions about your eligibility or registration, please contact us.
Code of Conduct
All conference participants must promote the highest standards of ethical behavior in their interactions with each other and agree upon the following:
• We are committed to encouraging the appropriate use of philanthropic tools such as program-related investments (PRIs) to accomplish programmatic outcomes and maximize charitable purposes.
• We recognize the importance of maintaining a secure, private and confidential environment in which we may freely share information about program-related and other social investments.
• We interact respectfully and communicate directly regarding any conflicts of interest that might diminish that secure environment.
• We encourage dissemination of co-investment opportunities but will not tolerate direct solicitation of grants or PRI funds for any participant’s own organization.
These statements provide a framework; they cannot and do not dictate conduct to cover particular situations. The Executive Committee of the PRI Makers Network reserves the right to remove participants who do not uphold these standards.
Participants agree that the defining function of the conference is to share knowledge about PRIs toward increasingly effective philanthropy. PRI Makers Network bears no responsibility for any outcomes resulting from the application of information shared between participants.
Hotel Reservations
The conference will be held at the Westin Michigan Avenue at 909 N. Michigan Avenue. When you register for the conference, you will be prompted to reserve your room at the Westin at the group rate of $189 per night.
Cancellation Policy
Individuals who need to cancel are encouraged to transfer their registration to another eligible attendee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time. Cancellations will be subject to a $75 processing fee through April 10, 2010. There will be no refunds after April 10, 2010. All refunds will be made after the Conference. All cancellations and substitutions must be in writing and e-mailed to PRIMakers@thebalcomgroup.com or mailed to PRI Conference, c/o The Balcom Group, 992 Locust Cove Road, Heathsville, VA 22473.
Photo Release
All participants acknowledge that they may be photographed/videotaped by the PRI Makers Network or its official photographer/videographer while at the conference, and that the photographs/video may be used in future print and electronic promotional materials. If you do not wish your likeness to be used in this way, please contact us within 24 hours of the conclusion of the conference.
