Membership Dues
New members can join the Network at an introductory rate of $250 for the first year of membership.
For renewing members, 2010 dues are calculated at 1/10th of 1 per cent of the organization’s PRI investment portfolio as of January 1, 2010, with a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $5,000. To calculate your dues, multiply your PRI portfolio value by .001. For example:
If your PRI portfolio value is $5 million+, your membership dues are $5,000.
If your PRI portfolio value is $2 million, your membership dues are $2,000.
If your PRI portfolio value is $1 million, your membership dues are $1,000.
If your PRI portfolio vale is 0, your membership dues are $250.
All members will receive a membership renewal request prior to their annual renewal date.
Code of Conduct
The PRI Makers Network members and affiliates promote the highest standards of ethical behavior in their interactions with each other and agree upon the following:
- We are committed to encouraging the appropriate use of philanthropic tools such as program-related investments (PRIs) to accomplish programmatic outcomes and maximize charitable purposes.
- We recognize the importance of maintaining a secure, private and confidential environment in which we may freely share information about program-related and other social investments.
- We interact respectfully and communicate directly regarding any conflicts of interest that might diminish that secure environment.
- We encourage dissemination of co-investment opportunities but will not tolerate direct solicitation of grants or PRI funds for any member’s own organization.
These statements provide a framework; they cannot and do not dictate conduct to cover particular situations. The Executive Committee of the PRI Makers Network reserves the right to remove members who do not uphold these standards.
Members agree that the defining function of this network is to share knowledge about PRIs toward increasingly effective philanthropy. PRI Makers Network bears no responsibility for any outcomes resulting from the application of information shared between Members.
