Remarks: Mary Anne Rodgers, David and Lucile Packard Foundation
When the Aquarium suffered near total losses of its collection as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation offered a crucial PRI to help restore the collection and help the Audubon Nature Institute get tourism and sources of revenue back in play.
